I once read somewhere that the viewers eyes like to keep busy when looking at a photograph, so by putting your subject somewhere other than the center {where people are so accustom to seeing them}, it adds excitement to the picture. In essence, keeps your eyes busy.
Oh these little photo taking tips & tricks make me want to squeal with excitement, and so does taking pictures of Emily on that red tricycle. ah, heavenly.
