wishes come true

Thanks to Make a Wish.... our daughter's dream to meet Winnie the Pooh in Disneyworld, came true this past week.

 

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh ride was like jumping right inside a Pooh Movie.

So magical.

Emily loved it so much we rode it 4 times.

  

Emily & her friends shared secrets.

Held hands.

Hugged each other.

Fell in love.

  

They even played a little together.

Well hello there Tigger.

 

Our family will never forget those sweet moments and neither will Emily.

This little girl has no idea what's in store for her very soonish.....

  

Emily was granted a special wish to meet Pooh.

So..... that means, our family will be going on a 7-day Disney world trip &

we will be staying at Give Kids the World Village in sunny Florida.

eeeek, how exciting is that?

  

We will be able to visit the 100 Aker Wood at the Magic Kingdom.

And eat lunch at the Crystal Palace with Pooh & all his friends.

  

She will go on many adventures this little girl of ours.....

just like her friend Winnie the Pooh.

 

Thank you Make A Wish for making this amazing experience happen for us.

the magic of easter day...

 

There is something magical about Easter morning.

It's not just the Easter baskets, hunting for eggs or family gatherings.

 

It's so much more.

It's the feeling of knowing that God loves you unconditionally &
gave His only begotten son for us.

      

 

Thank you Father for so many blessings & a beautiful family to share my life with.

never give up

Those are the words I say to myself every time I try to get a nice picture of these two together.

And again, I say "Never Give Up"!

I will one day have my dream picture.

The one where both little children are actually looking at ME.  Don't have a mouth full of Cheez It's and aren't trying to scurry away.

Until then I will just continue to enjoy the little moments I do capture.

It still makes me giggle thinking about what I was going through....in my great photographic attempt.

Candy bribery.  Please sit down for mommy.  I'll buy you a car.

There is something to be said about moments like these.  

I live for them.

They make my knees wobbly.

They make me fall more in love each moment.

They make me THANKFUL for the blessings I have been given.

And they remind me that God never gives up on us.
