Toddler Time Archives

toddlertime

As a parent, teaching your child is something you are doing from the minute they are born. Our children are always learning from us. Being the parent of a special needs child, also means taking some extra time to teach your child things, that an average child might learn to do more easily than yours.

During Toddler Time, I will share an activity or craft project that we work on here at Pooh's Corner.  I will also be sharing some of the activities her therapists use with her.

Emily currently attends preschool disabled & she is growing and thriving there.  These are just some of the activities we work on here at home so that Emily has repetition. Repetition is how she learns. Sometimes she will learn something & then all of a sudden, it's like she never learned it. So we start again.

disclaimer: I am not a teacher, nor do I claim to be one. Just a mom sharing some of the fun learning techniques we use in our home.

These activities are not specific to special needs children, they are fun for any age. Welcome to Toddler Time!
